This work attempts to develop the symbolic resonance of the filmstrip. It is used in a metaphorical way to represent the passing of time, and the suspension of events in time. These ‘pictures’ or momentary flashes of recollection, can become blurred when trying to recapture them clearly. To denote this ambiguity each image is abstracted and paired down, as if they are memories on the point of fading.
